The Tony Stewart Racing Team Duo Are Looking for Victories in More Than One Way
With three races this weekend, Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz will be racing for multiple victories. The race action begins on Thursday at LaSalle (Ill.) Speedway, then its on to Beaver Dam (Wis.) Raceway on Saturday and Cedar Lake Speedway (Somerset, Wis.) on Sunday.
For Kinser and Schatz, Thursday’s race comes with some additional incentive. It’s the final race in the Showdown for the Bud Crown, where the top three drivers who accumulated the most points over a series of four races will be rewarded. Right now, Kinser is in third place and Schatz is fourth in the points standings. They will be in the chase for the first place prize of $9,000.
