Extending the Life Of Your Used Car
A used car isn’t just a way to get from point A to point B. It’s a purchase that can actually help you improve your financial situation. It provides you the ability to get to your job and earn the money you need to get back on the road to a better life. Choose a used car dealer that can help you get the maximum return on your investment. J.D. Byrider will work with you to be sure you get a car that meets your needs. And, we’ll report your payment activity to the major credit bureaus, which can result in a better financial status for you.
It’s always important to protect your investment. And saving money is even more critical in tough economic times. One way to do both is to take good care of your vehicle. Regular car maintenance prevents small problems from becoming big hassles. Here are a few tips to keep in mind:
Every three months or 3,000 miles, make sure you:
- Change the oil and filter
- Lubricate the chassis
- Check all fluid levels and fill if necessary
- Check your tire pressure and wiper blades
• Check all of your lights to make sure they work properly
Also keep in mind that you should replace your vehicle’s air filter at least once a year or every 12,000 miles. It’s a good idea to regularly check tires for signs of wear and to rotate and balance them occasionally to ensure they wear evenly.
The J.D. Byrider Service Department is there when you need top-quality car care. Our professional staff will make sure you’re up-to-date on scheduled maintenance and help you extend the life of your car. Our service experts only work with J.D.
